Although ‘Bob‘ sounds like an adorable dog name. The name holds a little secret, a play on words if you will. The meaning behind ‘Bob‘ stems from the term ‘best of breed‘. Which my owner Marc Boland came up with. Gladly my dog mom’s family thought that was quite clever and came up with the Japanese name ‘Ichiban‘, which means ‘number one / best‘. That’s the name used on my Japanese Shiba Inu registration papers.

Woof! I’m The Goodest Bob, but you can call me Bob. I may be just a Shiba Inu, but let me tell you, I’m on a mission to spread joy and happiness wherever I go.
Life as The Goodest Bob is a real treat and what I love most is making people smile. I’ve got this wagging tail that never quits and my fluffy fur is as soft as a cloud. When you see me, you can’t help but want to give me a big scratch behind the ears.
